European Union’s head of foreign policy, Kaja Kallas, asked on Monday (14) “maximum pressure” over Russia to end the war in Ukraine a day after a missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Sumy, which killed 34 people, officials.
“I believe we need to press, press Russia to the fullest to really end this war, because it takes two to want peace,” Kallas told reporters when he reached a meeting of European Union Foreign Ministers in Luxembourg.
“All those who want the end of the killing must exert the maximum pressure,” she continued.
Poland Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said United States President Donald Trump and his government realize that Vladimir Putin is “mockery of his goodwill” after the deadly missile attack of Moscow to Sumy.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot also stated that France, the United Kingdom and Germany will be vigilant about nuclear discussions between the United States and Iran to ensure that they are according to European interests.
“We will be vigilant, along with our British and German friends and partners, to ensure that any negotiations (USA-LAM) that may occur are in accordance with our security interests in relation to the Iranian nuclear program,” Barrot expressed to a meeting of EU Foreign Ministers in Luxembourg.
