EU member states agree to grant UK 3-month extension to Northern Ireland protocol – Reuters

According to the Irish national broadcaster RTE, European Union member states have agreed to grant the United Kingdom a three-month extension of the protocol on Northern Ireland, as reported by Reuters.

Reuters reported that member states informally agreed to do so subject to Britain continuing to align itself with EU food safety standards for the duration of the extension.
