Ethereum Foundation (EF) has announced updating the managerial and observation structure aimed at strengthening the strategy, transparency and stability of the Ethereum ecosystem.
The new managerial team was recently led by two co-executive directors-Siao-Wei Van and Tomash Stanchak. Also, the position of President of the AI Miyaguchi is maintained as a key, and the founder of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin will continue to provide technical and intellectual counseling as part of the board of directors.
In addition, EF appointed Bastiana Aue and Josh Stark with the leadership leaders of the directions of the organizational strategy, hiring and training and implementation of projects, communication and marketing, respectively.
The organization’s statement states that this reorganization reflects the new Ethereum Foundation development phase. According to EF representatives, the new structure “will help to combine vision, strategic performance, technical direction and development of the ecosystem.”
Tomash Stanchak, founder of Nethermind, will take the position of a co -executive director for a two -year term. Its purpose should help in the implementation of deeper changes focused on technical needs and community requests.
Siao-Wan Van, who will combine the roles in management and in the Council, will perform the function of communication between the executive team and the observation authority. Her experience in Ethereum research will strengthen the analytical and strategic potential EF.
President EF Yajaguchi and Swiss adviser Patrick Storkenegger remain in the Council of Directors.
EF also announced that the new management team will regularly inform the community about their actions and plans, contributing to transparency and attracting.
Recall that at the end of January 2025, representatives of the blockchain community called for the head of the former Ethereum Foundation researcher Danny Ryan.
In April, the EF team discussed the priorities of the network development, focusing on scaling due to BLOB objects (EIP-4844), improving L1-level performance and improving the quality of user experience.
As a result, Later Buterin announced two EF goals, namely, to contribute to the use of Ethereum and ensure the stability and decentralization of the ecosystem.
