The State University of Campinas (Unicamp) released this Monday (22) the list of those approved in the first call for the 2024 entrance exam. The announcement took place in advance, as the scheduled date was January 29. According to Comvest, the institution responsible for the exam, 2,527 candidates were invited to enroll in the 69 course options.
The list of candidates can be accessed on the Comvest website, searching for the student's name, registration number, or accessing the complete list by initial letter of the name. To guarantee your place, you must complete the first stage of registration, online, from 9am on January 30th until 5pm on January 31st.
“Candidates called in the first option who do not register electronically are excluded from the modality”, informs the entrance exam director.
Registration procedures are also available on another page of the website. As for the grades, they will only be released on Tuesday, the 23rd. It is worth remembering that Unicamp also offers places for students through the National High School Exam (Enem) score, but the list of those approved through this system is different.
Candidates who used the ethnic-racial quota system and were approved in the first call must be aware of the validation by the investigation board in the initial stage of the procedure.
Those who authorized the use of the photograph as part of the validation process by the Investigating Committee and were validated by the examination boards in the initial stage of the procedure will receive an email informing them of the validation, along with instructions for registration.”
Candidates who did not authorize, as well as those who need the additional process via Google Meet, will also receive, by email, instructions on how to appear at the panel before starting the registration process.
“Validation of the self-declaration presented by candidates opting for ethnic-racial quotas will only occur after the phenotype assessment carried out by the Commission, with registration being conditional on approval by the Investigating Committee, in accordance with resolution GR-074/2020, which established the procedure for heteroidentification”, informs Comvest.
Regarding first and second option vacancies, Comvest says that candidates invited to the course chosen as second option must register online and then choose or not to wait for a possible vacancy for the first option course, via internal reorganization.
“Second option candidates who do not register online will lose this place (second option), but will continue to compete for the first option course, and can therefore be called up in the next calls, according to the classification criteria”, he says.
Next calls
Those who did not pass this first call must wait for the second list, which will be published on February 5th, or until the third call, on February 9th, if they do not pass the second. You will then be able to sign up for the waiting list.
“From 9 am on February 9th until 5 pm on February 15th, Comvest will receive declarations of interest for open places in the Unicamp 2024 Entrance Exam, only via the internet, on a specific form”, informs Comvest.
All candidates who completed the 2nd phase, were not eliminated due to a zero score and were not invited to any of their options until the third call can declare their interest on the waiting list. The option applies to all courses, whether or not there are open places.
“Failure to declare interest will result in the elimination of the call process for other calls. Candidates enrolled in the 2nd option and who requested relocation must be aware of the situations described in the Admission Manual.”
The Unicamp entrance exams took place on October 29th, in the first phase, and December 3rd and 4th, in the second phase. In total, there were 64,705 candidates, with an abstention rate of 7.8% in the first phase.
