France is preparing to host their summer Olympic Games (July 26 – August 11) and the French President, Emmanuel Macronposted a video on the X platform wearing boxing gloves urging the French to exercise. In front of the lens and with a punching bag in the background, the French president urges his countrymen to they exercise at least 30 minutes a day.
“We have a great national cause this year, it's sports. THE sport to school. We made 30 minutes of sport compulsory for all primary school children. We put more sports in the college,” Macron said. “I invite you to exercise at least 30 minutes every day. I hope more if you can. At least 30 minutes a day, because it isi good for your health. It is a way to have Olympic Games that will be integrated into our daily life. Long live the Olympic and Paralympic Games,” he added.

Emmanuel Macron also pointed out in his video message that the Olympics, which France is preparing to host, will be “with the smallest carbon footprint in history”. As he pointed out, they will be “Green Games that respect the Paris agreements”. “We will host equal games with an equal number of male and female athletes. We will have missions outstanding Olympic and Paralympic athletes with, as I hope, many French medals,” Macron said.
After the Olympic Games, Paris will also host the Paralympic Games, from August 28 to September 8.
