Embraer reported this Tuesday (7) that in April, a subsidiary of Eve Holding, Inc. and Falcon Aviation Services, a business aviation services company operating in the Middle East and Africa region, have signed a Letter of Intent (LOL) for up to 35 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
With deliveries scheduled to begin in 2026, the partnership will feature the first eVTOL tourist flights departing Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai.
Eve and Falcon will work together with partners and local authorities to support the development of the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) ecosystem for the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“We are excited to partner with Eve and be the first eVTOL operator in Dubai and the Middle East and North Africa region. The launch of this concept is fully in line with the Smart Dubai vision and will contribute to positioning Dubai as a global leader in sustainable Urban Air Mobility transport”, highlights Commander Ramandeep Oberoi, Falcon’s director of operations, in a note.
“This is a major challenge for both companies, which will help position Dubai as a leader in the urban air mobility market. Eve’s global experience, which covers different regions of the world, will certainly benefit the realization of this project”, also highlights in a note the co-CEO of Eve, André Stein.
