Embraer reported adjusted net income (excluding deferred taxes and special items) of R$199.8 million in the second quarter of the year, compared to R$212.8 million in the same period last year, the company said in a balance sheet sent to Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) this Thursday (4).
Net income attributed to shareholders was R$372.6 million in the period.
Cash generation measured by earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) reached BRL 550.5 million in the second quarter of 2022, compared to BRL 1 billion in the same period last year.
As a result, the Ebitda margin was 10.9% in the period, compared to 17.5% a year earlier.
Net revenue totaled R$5 billion from April to June, a decrease of 14.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, mainly due to lower deliveries in commercial aviation and defense and security, and partially offset by higher revenues from services and support, highlighted the manufacturer.
