Elon Musk threw the price of Random9 token by 750,000%

Random9 cryptocurrency increased by more than 750,000% after Ilon Mask. Within the next 30 minutes, the token has practically depreciated, reports RBC Crypto.

In the evening of March 23, Musk wrote on the social network X that his character ranks third in the game Path of Exile (Poe, or “The Exile Way” – a multiplayer computer game in the Action/RPG genre). In response to the question of the subscriber about the name of his character, he said that there were several of them: the previous one under the name BelessDumb, and the current name is Random9.

At the same time, Elon’s Poe Account (Random9), the price of which at decentralized auction, immediately went up, was launched on the Ethereum network. Within three hours, the price of token increased from $ 0.000002117 to $ 0.01594 – by 752,852%. After a sharp take -off, Random9 collapsed even faster – in half an hour it fell in price by almost 100%.

According to the DEXSCREENER obser, token trading stopped immediately after the fall. Most of the fraud checks were completed, but the Goplus analysts marked Random9 as a scam-token from the Honeypot category.

Translated from English, Honeypot literally means “pot of honey”, but often translates simply as a “bait”. The meaning of this scheme is that the fraudster creates a cryptocurrency project on attractive conditions for potential victims. Moreover, the project has one goal – theft of cash, personal data or confidential information.

In the subsequent analysis in the community, it was found that dozens of wallets created six days before the launch of token, replenished with the BYBIT and MXCC crypto -tank and having an identical history, began to purchase Random9 for approximately the same amounts. The history of these purchases can be traced on the observer page – most of the transactions fall on such wallets.

Exploring the transactions with the token, it can be found that the mentioned wallets carried out quite favorable transactions. So, the owner of the address, who was the first to buy tokens on a launch of $ 41, sold them a few of them a few minutes for $ 6.7 thousand.

In January of this year, tokens, named after the previous character, a mask from POE named Fatalismftw, also grew and fell in the price of. There were several such tokens – on the Ethereum blockchain, on SOLANA.

Prior to this, the character in the game Path of Exile was Percy Vereence, even earlier – Kekius Maximus.
