Billionaire Elon Musk recently acquired the social media platform Twitter and is pushing for a lot of changes. He has already fired employees, changed leaders and returned to release controversial profiles like that of former US President Donald Trump.
This Friday (9), on his profile on the social network, Musk tweeted what will be his latest move to the platform. He said he will delete 1.5 billion Twitter accounts that are not active – but no tweets and no logins for years.
“Twitter will soon begin freeing up the namespace of 1.5 billion accounts,” he points out in the first tweet. Just below, he adds: “these are obvious account deletions without tweets and without login for years”.
