Eliana announces departure from SBT after 15 years: “New phase with other challenges”

Eliana will no longer be part of the staff of the SBT from June this year. The news was released by the broadcaster's press office, which reported that the decision was amicable between the parties.

“SBT, its board of directors and Eliana announce today, in a mutual and friendly way, the decision of the presenter of end its solid and successful professional partnership with the channel in June 2024 “, began the note.

“After almost 15 years leading a consolidated and highly successful program, Eliana decided that it was time for a new phase with other professional challenges, without ever forgetting the countless days of joy, achievements and learning experienced at the station”, they added. .

According to SBT, Eliana will continue as Godmother of the Telethon and will return to the station to present the fundraising program for AACD.

“Both parties rightfully express their mutual gratitude and wish the best for the future. SBT also reinforces its affection and support for the presenter in whatever paths she intends to follow, and informs that the doors will always be open for her”, concluded the statement.

Remember Eliana's career

When he started playing music at the end of the 1980s, Eliana joined SBT in 1991 where he stayed for seven years with the mission of directing children's programs.

After this period, in 1998, he migrated to RecordTV, where it remained focused on children until 2005, when it made the transition to a Sunday program.

The success caught the attention of Silvio Santos who invited her to return to SBT in 2009 debuting a program that bears his name, for the whole family, with different pictures, reports, fun and lots of emotion.
