Elections in Turkey: Massive turnout, voters even come to the polls on stretchers

The elections in Turkey are in full swing, with no serious problems and tensions recorded so far.

Millions of Turkish voters are coming in their thousands since Sunday morning and are being asked to decide on the future of their country by choosing between Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

Analysts argue that in this year’s elections, the participation of the previous elections, which reached 86%, may be exceeded.

The images from the polling centers confirm this view as even people in wheelchairs or stretchers come to the polls to vote for one of the two “gladiators”.
