An elderly woman died at dawn on Tuesday (22), after being run over in the municipality of Colatina, Espírito Santo. The case occurred on Sunday night (20).
The 85 -year -old victim was crossing the pedestrian strip when a car hit her. The Military Police (PM) was called, the woman was attended by Samu and sent to Silvio Avidos Hospital, where she was hospitalized.
According to the PM, the driver was not at the scene and had not provided help. Witnesses said the suspect showed signs of drunkenness and fled after the incident.
Security cameras caught the moment the victim is run over, then the vehicle disappears from the video.
