Huawei announced the MatePad Paper e-ink tablet at Mobile World Congress 2022. The device initially came out only in black. Now, the Chinese tech giant has released a white version of the MatePad Paper, which is available for $455.

Recall that Huawei MatePad Paper is equipped with a 10.3-inch grayscale screen with a resolution of 1872 x 1404 pixels and a density of 227 pixels per inch. The tablet features low blue light, no flicker, and wide viewing angles. In terms of comfort, reading is comparable to reading from plain paper.

Huawei MatePad Paper offers features such as split screen notes, handwriting, voice typing. Huawei MatePad Paper is equipped with the second generation M-Pencil stylus, which recognizes 4096 pressure levels. The delay is only 26ms.

The MatePad Paper is powered by a hexa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The tablet received support for WiFi 6+ and Bluetooth 5.2. The battery capacity is 3625 mAh, which lasts up to 28 days. It also comes with support for 22.5W fast charging. You can provide up to 6 days of reading with just 1.5 hours of charging. It supports reverse charging. The device also has a fingerprint scanner.
