The team of Rossgram, the widely advertised domestic analogue of Instagram (banned in the Russian Federation; owned by the extremist company Meta, recognized in the Russian Federation), just showed the application in operation yesterday, but it is not yet possible to install the official application.

Fraudsters have already taken advantage of the popularity of the project. A fraudulent application appeared on Google Play, masquerading as the Rossgram mobile application. It was noticed in the Jet Infosystems laboratory of practical security analysis. Experts note:
When using the application, some users are shown a stub with information that the social network will be launched soon, others are given a message that they have won a large amount of money.
After that, “technical support specialists” ask the user to enter bank card details, which are sent to the attackers’ server. In addition to stealing bank cards, the application can potentially perform other malicious activities.
The official launch of Rossgram is expected in April.
