A mobile phone charging cable and a hair tie were pulled from a 15-year-old’s stomach Turku the doctors at a hospital in Elazig.
As stated by NewYorkPost the boy was taken to the hospital with stomach pains and nausea. The doctors did the necessary tests, but they didn’t believe what they saw on the x-ray.
Inside the stomach of the 15-year-old there was a mobile charging cable almost a meter long, but also a hair band.
Head of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Professor Yasar Dogan and his team removed the objects from the child’s stomach, with the doctor telling local media: “Obviously we had a hard time removing the cable, as one end of it had gone into the small intestine.”
The 15-year-old boy is now in good health and has returned home, however it remains unclear how the cable and hair tie ended up in his stomach.
