On the morning of last Friday (11), an approach made by the Guarulhos Municipal Guard ended in confusion with a civil police officer, who was on a motorcycle and received a stop order from GCM, who was making a preventive patrolling at the scene.

In the video, you can see the policeman discussing with the Municipal Guard, refusing to show professional identification. According to GCM information, the reason for the approach would have been the identifying plate of the vehicle, which was partially hidden.
The firmer approach would have been necessary in the face of the policeman’s refusal, who disobeyed the orders of the Municipal Guard. On the other hand, the GCM would have been truculent with the subject, sending him down from the bike, calling him a “thief.”
According to the Civil Police, the case is investigated as injury and disobedience by the 1st DP of Guarulhos. Both parties involved were sent to the police station and gave their versions.
Guarulhos City Hall stated in a statement that the facts are being cleared by the Civil Police and the Guarulhos GCM Corregedoria.
