Dmitry Medvedev says Ukraine belongs to Russia

THE Dmitry Medvedevits former president of Russia and vice president of the country's security council, said today that the Ukraine belongs to Russia and that tensions between Washington and Moscow are worse than they were during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, the RIA news agency reported.

Medvedev stated in a public lecture that US special forces and military advisers are already waging war on Russia.

He also stated that the Moscow will show restraint regarding the alleged wiretapping of officers of of the German armed forces for a possible strike against Russiabut how he won't forget it.

The RIA news agency also reported that Medvedev said that peace talks with the current Ukrainian leadership were impossible and that any new Ukrainian government would first have to recognize the “new reality” on the ground for talks to take place.
