The British monthly magazine DJ Magazine, dedicated to electronic dance music and popular DJs, has promised the first digital currency for the regulars of the dance floors.
DJ Mag, as the entertainment and media tabloid is known for short, has named its own cryptocurrency DJCoin (DJC). It was created using the Tron blockchain and is promised to be the world’s first digital currency for dance music fans.
Approximately 1.1 million DJC coins will be issued in circulation. As conceived by the developers, DJCoin will become the internal currency of the DJ Mag ecosystem and will be used to purchase fanservice products in the publication’s online store, as well as access to some exclusive content and closed DJ Mag events. In addition, DJC holders will be able to purchase discounted tickets to the world’s biggest dance music events and vote in DJ Mag polls.
Earlier, Danielius Stasiulis, head of crypto investment education platform BitDegree, said that in the next five years we will see the massive adoption of digital assets in all major social platforms, as well as new generations of digital property rights platforms.
