DJ is arrested for threatening ex and disseminating intimate content

Civil police from the 20th DP of Rio de Janeiro (Vila Isabel) arrested last Monday (7) a man suspected of breaking protective measure and threatening his former partner.

Identified as Gabriel Petrucci da Fonseca, he presented himself as a DJ and music producer and was located at his residence in the Itaipu neighborhood, in the Oceanic region of Niterói.

The action was triggered after the victim sought the police station in a state of despair, reporting the severity of the threats. According to the investigations, Gabriel, even forbidden to keep in touch with the former partner, sent dozens of offenses, audio with death threats and even released intimate content of the victim on the internet.

In addition, the investigated would also have threatened relatives of the former partner, further aggravating the breach of the determinations imposed by the court.

The investigations were conducted by the delegate Camila Lourenço. As soon as the case came to the team’s knowledge, the agents began steps to locate the suspect.

“The author was aware that the victim registered the case in the 20th DP and yet was not intimidated. He continued to make death threats, saying that the Civil Police could look for him, that he would not be intimidated and would not stop the threats,” said the delegate.

According to the Civil Police, the DJ remains available to the court and will be responsible for crimes related to psychological violence, dissemination of intimate material without consent and threat, among other possible infractions.

THE CNN tries to locate the defense of Fonseca.
