DJ Alok says his father is sheltering in a bunker in Israel

Alok stated, this Sunday (8), that his father, also DJ Juarez Petrillo, is safe and sheltered in a bunker in Israel after the attacks carried out by Hamas, classified by the United States and the European Union as a terrorist group, since Saturday ( 7).

On social media, the DJ said that his father wants to return to Brazil and is awaiting guidance from the authorities to travel. The Air Force Command has six planes destined for the rescue operation for Brazilians in Israel.

“He is safe in a bunker awaiting direction to return to Brazil,” wrote the man from Goiás.

There is a KC-30 aircraft, with capacity for 230 passengers, which is ready to take off from Natal towards Rome, Italy. The trip should be made this Sunday.

The information was given at a press conference this Sunday morning, at Itamaraty, with the Air Force commander, lieutenant-brigadier Marcelo Damasceno, and the Minister of Defense, José Múcio.

Alok also offered solidarity to the victims and those missing in the armed conflict between Israel and Hamas. “My prayers for the missing, for the people of the region who are victims of this cruel war and for their families who are feeling pain at this time. Very sad!” said the DJ.

Juarez Petrillo was about to play at “Universo Paralello”, an electronic music festival that took place near the city of Sderot, on the border with the Gaza Strip, when his show was canceled due to the surprise bombing that began in the country.

“Parallel Universe Israel. I’m in shock even now!! And the bombs don’t stop exploding,” he wrote in the post.

Moments later, Juarez appeared on Instagram stories and revealed that the festival had been cancelled.

“Surreal. I was supposed to be playing, but the line up was 1 hour late. I was already on stage to play. Too spiritual! It was the first time this had happened, a party had never stopped like this! I don’t even know what to say,” he said.

The Israeli army and Hamas forces began the second day of clashes this Sunday after the extremist group launched a surprise attack on Israel on Saturday (7).

More than 650 people were killed in Israel’s deadliest day of violence in 50 years.

The biggest incursion into Israel in decades could undermine U.S.-backed efforts to forge regional security alignments that could threaten Palestinian statehood aspirations and the ambitions of the group’s main backer, Iran.

Hamas fighters began their attack in the early hours of Saturday with a massive barrage of rockets into southern Israel, providing cover for an unprecedented, multifaceted infiltration of fighters into Israel from Gaza, a narrow strip home to 2.3 million of Palestinians.

Hamas fighters killed at least 250 Israelis in clashes throughout the day and escaped back to Gaza with dozens of hostages. More than 230 Gazans were killed when Israel responded with one of its most devastating days of counterattacks.
