The Walt Disney Company turns 100 years old this Monday (16). In celebration, the studio produced a short film in which it presents its striking and iconic characters in a fun and nostalgic encounter.
With more than 500 characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Moana, Pocahontas, Bambi and several others, “Once Upon a Time” is available exclusively to subscribers of the Disney+ platform.
All of them even leave the frames displayed behind the scenes at the American facilities to take a family photo, right after the employees leave.
“Celebrate a century of stories with ‘Once Upon a Studio,’ a new original short film, debuting on ABC.” When two new employees spend the night at Walt Disney Animation Studios, they’ll see all the Disney characters past and present come to life and come together to take their own 100th anniversary photo. This comedy short is specifically a celebration of the history of Disney Animation, with references to many of its iconic characters,” says the description.
