A Disney and the Star Wars provided the first audiobooks in Brazil. Three works were released in the form of narrated content, offering an immersive experience.
Among the titles are “The Strange World of Jack”, “Star Wars –Ahsoka” and “The Beast Within Me”, told with real voices, soundtracks and sound effects. Each audiobook costs R$29 and is available on the Tocalivros platform.
“Jack's wierd world”
Narration brings the story of the original 1993 film, with elaborate stop motion illustrations. In the plot, the King of Halloween, Skeleton Jack, wants to spread Christmas joy. But his mission threatens Santa Claus and creates a nightmare for children everywhere.
“Star Wars: Ahsoka”
The book was written by EK Johnston and the audiobook version was narrated by Paola Molinari. In the story, the story of Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker's Jedi apprentice, is told.
“The Beast in Me”
The work tells the story behind “Beauty and the Beast”, explaining why the prince became a monster before meeting Belle. The book was written by Serena Valentino and narrated by Guilherme Conradi, lasting four hours.
