Discover 5 hotel pools in SP to enjoy during the heat wave

Amid a heat wave that affected the city of São Paulo this week, with temperatures reaching 40°C, the general rule was to seek climate refuges, such as parks and clubs.

But it is possible to cool off in style. Some of the best hotels in the capital of São Paulo offer the still little explored “Day Use”, which gives access to swimming pools and other facilities for a period of one day, without the need to stay.

Rosewood, voted the best in South America by 50 Best

Opening in 2022, the award-winning Rosewood is located in the heart of the city, close to Avenida Paulista. Inside your complex, preserved buildings from the beginning of the 20th century, such as the old historic Matarazzo Maternity hospital, create the ambience of an elegant and exclusive experience.

The stunning vertical garden tower, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel, adds greenery to the hotel complex, which houses an immersive art collection featuring 450 works by 57 Brazilian artists. Along with luxurious accommodations and the Asaya concept of health and wellness treatments, Rosewood São Paulo offers six restaurants and bars, as well as, of course, two iconic swimming pools.

The Day Use service of the hotel facilities allows access to the swimming pool, bars and restaurants from Monday to Thursday, from 10am to 6pm. To book, the guest must call to 55 11 3797 0500, and request your reservation with a 20% discount on the online rate of the day. Day Use availability is subject to hotel occupancy.

Tangará Palace, an urban oasis surrounded by Atlantic Forest

Opened in 2017, in São Paulo, the luxurious Palácio Tangará changed the city’s hotel scene. The terrace restaurant, Pateo do Palácio, offers creations by chef Felipe Rodrigues in a project designed by Patrícia Anastassiadis.

Palácio Tangará, located in Panamby, in the middle of Burle Marx Park, also offers Day Use of the hotel facilities.

Guests can purchase a SPA Day Use voucher via the hotel website, and, in addition to enjoying Tangará’s exclusive treatments, you can also enjoy the outdoor pool. To confirm your reservation after purchasing the voucher, simply call the SPA center directly – availability is subject to occupancy.

Fasano Jardins, traditional and elegant

Opened in 2003 to complete the century-old Brazilian hotel chain, the Fasano Jardins unit has an architectural project designed by Isay Weinfeld and Márcio Kogan, the hotel reflects an old desire of restaurateur Gero Fasano to create a hotel with personality and excellence.

On the penultimate floor of the building, Spa Fasano offers five massage rooms that accommodate relaxing therapies and exclusive aesthetic treatments, lasting a minimum of 4 hours, with prices ranging from R$1,000 to R$5,000.

The hotel does not offer Day Use of its facilities, but the Jardins unit offers services that allow the use of the pool by customers who are not staying. Some Day Spa therapies involve facial treatments, a tasting menu and also access to the hotel’s pool and hot tub. Treatments can be booked through the Fasano Jardins Spa contact channels, telephone and email.

Tivoli Mofarrej, the best view of the capital of São Paulo

Reopened in 2009, the Hotel Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo combines tradition and excellence with contemporary proposals, such as the Seen restaurant-bar. The traditional hotel development was opened in the capital of São Paulo for the first time in 1986, and is a landmark on Alameda Santos, in the Jardins neighborhood, close to Avenida Paulista.

Recently, the tallest Tivoli hotel gained a sushi space, a central bar and a restaurant with an enviable landscape for the whole of São Paulo. With an almost 360º view, Seen enchants with its vast drink menu and finger food options.

The hotel offers Day Use of the facilities from Sunday to Sunday, the service runs from 10am to 5pm, and costs 70% of the value of a reservation for accommodation at the hotel, which varies depending on the category. To access, you can book in advance, or in person at the hotel, depending on the occupancy of the accommodation.

Unique, with a red pool on the city’s most famous rooftop

Since 2003, the year Hotel Unique opened, the building designed by Ruy Ohtake, on Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônio, has been a reference in the luxury hotel industry in the capital of São Paulo.

The hotel has already been awarded “Best Hotel in South America” by Condé Nast Traveler. And the hotel’s observation deck, located on the rooftop, has its famous – and award-winning – 25-meter red pool. The installation was considered “the best in the world” by the magazine wallpaper.

The Day Use service of the hotel facilities is offered from Sunday to Sunday, from 9am to 6pm, subject to accommodation availability. To guarantee access, the hotel charges R$2,100 for two people, during the day.
