From this month until the 18th of December, the Dinner in the Sky in Rio de Janeiro a gastronomic experience 50 meters high (equivalent to a 13-story building).
Created and produced by Benji Fun, in Belgium, the platform has TÜV (Technischer Überwachungsverein) one of the most rigorous in the category, and was installed on the balcony of Vivo Rio.
The capacity is for up to 22 people at a time and the structure will work from Thursday to Sunday, with options for brunch, lunch, cocktail, sunset and dinner. The experience can last between 40 and 70 minutes and the price of the full menu includes meals and drinks – alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
“We are very excited about the season in Rio, as we have a very special affection for the city. In the editions of São Paulo, about 20% of our participants were from outside the state and half were from Rio”, comments Eduardo Florence Lovro entrepreneur and CEO of Dinner in the Sky for Brazil and USA operations.
In editions held in other countries, chefs with up to three stars have already participated in Dinner In The Sky Michelinas Massimo Bottura, Frédéric Anton , Alain Passard, Henrique Fogaça, Flavia Quaresmas, between others.
During the season in São Paulo, they passed through the kitchen at the heights Renato Machado, Thomas Troisgros, Guga Rocha, Oscar Bosch and Felipe Schaedler .
