Didi’s daughter talks about rumor that her father doesn’t like her nickname

Livian Aragon 25, dismissed rumors that his father, Renato Aragon 89, doesn’t like being called “Didi”. The actress used the “question box” tool on her Instagram on Tuesday (23) to interact with her followers.

When asked by a fan about speculation that the comedian didn’t like being called by the name of the iconic character he created and played for more than 50 years, Lívian stated that her father is, in fact, very proud of his alter ego.

“This was one of the biggest lies ever invented,” the star began in her stories on the platform.

“It doesn’t even make sense (laughs). Why wouldn’t he want to be called Didi? A character that he created and has represented for more than 50 years with such pride?” he asked.

The young woman joked that it is common for there to be confusion between Didi’s fictional personality and that of her father in real life, and that even the comedian behaves like the character from time to time.

“He LOVES Didi. Sometimes people get their personalities mixed up, since Didi is a character and Renato is who he is. Sometimes they even get confused, and he often makes jokes like Didi. But this story about not liking people calling him Didi is a lie and pure herd effect. So, the next time you hear someone repeating this lie, please deny it,” he pointed out.

At the end of the publication, Lívian highlighted: “Didi is part of Renato and Renato is part of Didi”.
