Did the movie “The Truman Show” inspire BBB? Understand

Imagine living a life in which everyone around you is an actor, the place is nothing more than a big set and everything that happens around you is meticulously filmed and controlled by other people – this is the reality of Truman Burbank, protagonist in “The Truman Show” film released in 1998.

A year after the release of the film, which was acclaimed by critics and the public, Dutch businessman John de Mol created the reality show Big Brother, which aired in his home country. Later versions were made in several countries, such as Brazil.
