The custody hearing for lawyer and influencer Deolane Bezerra is scheduled to take place this Thursday (5). She was arrested at her family’s home in Recife, in an operation launched by the Civil Police of Pernambuco on Wednesday (4).
Deolane arrived at the Recife Women’s Penal Colony on Wednesday afternoon (4). According to the state’s Penitentiary Administration and Reintegration Secretariat, the unit accommodated the influencer in a reserved cell, as it was a high-profile case.
She spent the night there.
The action that arrested the influencer, called Integration, aimed to prevent money laundering crimes and the practice of illegal gambling, and is the result of an investigation that began in April 2023.
The investigations were supported by the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) and the Financial Activities Control Council (Coaf).
As soon as she was arrested, Deolane was taken to the headquarters of the Department for the Repression of Property Crimes (Depatri), in the west zone of the capital of Pernambuco. Her mother was also arrested, according to her other daughter, Dayanne Bezerra.
