In an interview with People magazine, the Golden Globe winner recalled her daughter’s home delivery: “It was really amazing… Rum had a delivery at home, and there was a time when I thought, ‘My God, I don’t know if she’ll get it’, because she has a different pain of mine. Rume, 36, opted for humanized birth, along with family members and with the support of the partner, musician Derek Thomas. Despite the cautious planning, she did not hide her nervousness and even doubted her ability to experience the experience.
“I was sitting with everyone outside, and I was crying. And I said, ‘You know … I don’t know if I can do that. And this is the delivery I want to do at home. But I just don’t know if I’ll get it.’
After entering the bathtub, Rume said he surrendered completely at the moment.

The institutions advise that the birth route must be planned in advance, accompanied by qualified professionals with a safe transfer plan to a hospital in case of complications.
