Flordelis was sentenced, in November 2022, to 50 years and 28 days for triple-qualified murder, attempted double-qualified murder, in addition to using a false document and armed criminal association.

Faucz went on to say that an appeal was filed against the conviction eight months ago, and the process did not even arrive for analysis at the TJ-RJ.
“Therefore, the excess of time is evident, and Flordelis cannot await the judgment of the appeals deprived of her liberty”, he explains.
According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Flordelis was responsible for planning her husband’s murder, in addition to having convinced the direct executor and other accused to participate in the crime under the simulation of a robbery, having also financed the purchase of the weapon and warned of the victim’s arrival at the place where he was executed.
Still according to the investigations pointed out in the complaint, the crime would have been motivated because the victim kept strict control of the family finances and managed the conflicts in a rigid way, not allowing privileged treatment to the people closest to the former deputy to the detriment of other family members.
