Deborah Secco on open marriage with Hugo Moura: “I’m not going to be a cuckold”

Married to film director Hugo Moura for nine years, Deborah Secco gave details about the open relationship with her husband . According to the actress, the couple's dynamics include agreements and conversations about relationships with other people.

“We have to be honest and we have to accept that we live in a society that is very difficult, that interesting people will appear at every moment, that I will come across someone interesting and that I will get home and we will talk about it,” she said on the podcast DiazOncommanded by Carla Diaz.

Deborah also assured that there is no room for lies in the relationship. “I’m not going to be the cuckold anymore, the idiot, I don’t want this place for myself. I'm married to the guy I love most, my best friend, the father of my family, I can't lie to this guy”, she reinforced.

Marriage in everyday life

Also according to the report, the actress explained that on a daily basis the two usually talk to redo certain arrangements and revealed that they are not always open to other people.

“Maybe at a time when we are fragile, it is better to close the relationship because we can lose ourselves. Maybe at a time when we are strong, we can have fun and the sex can be casual sex that doesn’t interfere with how we feel about each other,” she said. Together, the two are parents to eight-year-old Maria Flor.

“I’m not vulgar,” says the actress

During the conversation, Secco also refuted criticism about maintaining a non-monogamous relationship. “I'm not vulgar, my opinion on female freedom is still a shock to sexist society, when I talk about open relationships, monogamy, sexual freedom, pleasure,” he said.

“I look at the world with a view that tries to see a non-hypocritical truth, I try to see real people, real relationships”, he concluded.
