This Friday (22) the South Summit Brazil 2024 , one of the biggest technology events in the world, which took place in Porto Alegre. During the three-day event, more than 23 thousand people, 900 investors and three thousand startups from 55 countries attended.
On this last day, one of the most discussed topics was social development. During one of the panels, Celso Athayde , CEO of Central Única de Favelas (CUFA), spoke about the launch of F Bank, a bank that should be made by and for favela residents. The project is expected to be launched later this year.
Other highlights were Radaes Picoli General Manager of Sustainable Fuels at Petrobras, and Gabriela Comazzetto who works with global solutions at TikTok and spoke about the influence of digital platforms on culture, behavior and consumption.
In addition to them, Gabriela Ozemela vice president of social impact at iFood, also drew attention when talking about the platform's initiatives in this regard.
