The former app driver said that, after winning the reality show, he needed time to assimilate all the information he was receiving. “Everything that’s happening to me is crazy, I’m still trying to digest it to this day. But this takes time, and there is no need to give it time in the relationship. It’s a time to digest everything that’s happening to me, but this was used against me,” he says.
Davi says that they interpreted the end of his relationship as something that happened just because he had become a millionaire. “People took [a situação] like this: 'He's a millionaire now and he doesn't want her anymore [a Mani]. People on the internet, and even herself, didn’t respect my moment,” she says.
Furthermore, the former app driver said that he tried to resolve the situation with Mani but she was the one who made the decision to put an end to the relationship. “I went after, I ran, I called, [ela] not answer me. I called to talk, she didn't want to come talk. So, like, I went, but it wasn’t me who wanted to end everything, it was her,” she says.

Remember the crisis in the relationship between Davi and Mani
The crisis in the relationship between Davi Brito and Mani Reggo was one of the main controversies involving the BBB24 champion. The confusion began the day after the grand final, April 17th, when Davi participated in the program “Mais Você” and had the traditional breakfast with presenter Ana Maria Braga. He mentioned that he was “getting to know” Mani, with whom he had been in a relationship for a year and six months.
The statement differed from previous mentions he had made to his partner, whom he called his wife in the BBB 24 house. Even after the controversial speech, Mani still identified herself as Davi's wife in the biography of his Instagram profile.

Excerpts from the recording of Altas Horas, which took place on April 23, had already been released previously, confirming that the relationship between Davi and Mani had ended. On another occasion, during an interview with Luciano Huck, he explained that, despite the breakup, he is talking to his ex-girlfriend.
“We are talking, dialoguing. But all this controversy that is happening, what is going on on the internet, is just gossip. People are inventing things to try to take away my value,” said the new millionaire.
