Presenter Danilo Gentili announced a break from recording the program The Noite, on SBT, after bassist Mingau from the band Ultraje a Rigor was shot in the head last Sunday (3).
The program will continue with episodes already recorded for an indefinite period, “a brief recess”, according to the presenter.
“Today, we would not be able to record a program. The purpose of the program is to entertain, whenever we talk to someone it is to try to be fun, to make everyone laugh. I’m not in the mood to do this, Roger [Moreira] no one is here, no one is here”, said Gentili at the opening of the program this Tuesday (5).

Rinaldo Amaral, known as Mingau, was shot near a square dominated by a criminal faction, in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, the city’s delegate told the CNN .
The musician was transferred to São Paulo in an aircraft with ICU and underwent a surgery that lasted 3h30 at Hospital São Luiz do Itaim, from Rede D’Or, where he was transferred during the afternoon in serious condition.
Vocalist Roger Moreira visited Mingau in the hospital and stated that “he looks very good, he has a black eye from the beat”.
“I spoke to him sedated, but I saw his response, he started breathing faster, he seemed to say ‘I want to answer, I’m fine, I’m going to be fine’. So I’m very confident that he’s going to come out of this,” said Roger.
The band Ultraje a Rigor has been part of the talk show with Danilo Gentili since 2014, having migrated from the program Agora é Tarde, on TV Bandeirantes, which debuted in 2011.
