Actress Daniela Escobar used her Instagram this Friday (28) to apologize after her prejudiced speech about nurses went viral.
During her participation in the podcast “Papagaio Falante”, presented by Sérgio Mallandro and actor Renato Rabelo, Daniela stated that several nurses went to work dressed up and made up to “pick up doctors” and get married.
In his speech, Escobar said he had an unhappy speech and that he is very sad about all the negative repercussions.
“I came here to talk to you in a way… I am very sad, very shocked by the things I have read. For this media circus that rose around this episode of my unfortunate comment on Serginho’s podcast ”, she began.
The artist revealed that she had been away from the networks in recent days due to a medical emergency for a close person, and that only today she became aware of everything they were saying about her.
“I reviewed the piece of the article where I made the comment and noticed that, in fact, I put “s”, I said them and generalized. So I apologize to those of you who felt offended by my comment. It was absolutely unfortunate, I shouldn’t have done it,” she said.
Daniela also explained that her speech was based on a situation she had been through, but that she expressed herself badly.
“I tried to make fun of a situation that I went through a while ago, which caused me a lot of discomfort and strangeness at the time, leaving me a strong, very negative impression and I tried to make it light, to make fun of it, but it is a situation that you are absolutely right. . It’s not funny at all,” he declared.
“I apologize to all of you […] I didn’t minimize the importance of coming here to talk to you, admitting my mistake, and apologizing to everyone who felt offended. I didn’t mean to offend anyone.”

After the podcast, Coren (Regional Council of Nurses), from Rio Grande do Sul (RS), issued a note saying that the actress’ speech was disrespectful to the nurses.
