The singer Cyndi Lauper will make its debut in Rock in Rio 2024 this Friday (20). The icon in the 1980s makes his return to Brazil after 13 years and should bring his greatest hits such as “Time After Time”, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and “True Colors” should be on his setlist.
Nominated for a Grammy 16 times, the American has already won two gramophones for home and still holds an Emmy statuette and a Tony . She has sold over 50 million records and her first release “She’s So Unsual” earned her a Grammy for Best New Artist.
With this feat, Cyndi became the first woman in history to have four top five singles from a debut album .
At 70 years old, the artist performs in the entitled Their Day which brings together an 100% female line-up. In addition to her, Ivete Sangalo, Gloria Gaynor, Iza, Karol G and Katy Perry are among the attractions.
