A wallet with the Dogecoin cryptocurrency will be delivered to the moon under the Moonbox program of the German transport company DHL, which, for a fee, offers customers to send small items into space. According to project website, prices for this service start from €430.95.
The rocket project to send cargo to the Moon is being carried out by Astrobotic. In addition to the crypto wallet with DOGE tokens, one physical Bitcoin coin will also be sent to the Earth’s satellite, as well as a metal plate engraved with the contents of the first (Genesis) Bitcoin block.
The token price reacted to the news with an increase of 3.5%. Currently, DOGE is trading at $0.079 and has a capitalization of $11.2 billion.
