Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen explained that he saw the trading platform as a market leader and a reliable partner for trading cryptocurrencies, commodities and securities.
“Bitpanda is about quality and long-term perspective. We share a common philosophy, a winning mentality and a desire to improve every day. The exchange is valued at more than $4 billion and serves about 2.7 million clients. We want to work together to achieve our common goals,” said the head of FC Bayern.
Bitpanda management announced that the exchange intends to interact with the club's fan community, as well as display advertising during home matches at the club's Allianz Arena stadium – about service opportunities on this trading platform.
Last year, Bayern's Bundesliga rival Borussia Dortmund announced US crypto exchange Coinbase as its premium partner, signing a deal that included cryptocurrency training courses for team members and employees.
