Crowds at Israeli-American Hostage Hershey Goldberg Paulin’s Funeral – ‘I Thought He’d Come Back Alive’

Hundreds of people gathered today in front of the Har Khameneihot cemetery in Jerusalem for the funeral of Hersh Goldberg-Paulin, the Israeli-American hostage who was found dead in the Gaza Strip, according to AFP. The Israeli military announced on Sunday that it had discovered his body inside a tunnel in the southern part of the Palestinian territory, along with the bodies of five other hostages who had been kidnapped during Hamas’s unprecedented October 7 attack on Israel. “This year, seeing his face everywhere and what he stood for – freedom, love and unity – gave us the impression that we knew him,” Alon Kremer, director of the Hapoel Jerusalem football club, which was supported by the Harsh.
