As reported by Variety, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow honored the actress with their presence at the ceremony held in Los Angeles.
Cox stated in PEOPLE, as reported by the Athens News Agency that listening to their words felt “wonderful”, adding that “they are family to me”.
The two stars in their speeches pointed out that when they started on “Friends”, they were nervous about meeting Cox who at the time was the most famous member of the cast. “She was open with everyone, warm, tender and interested in you. It inspired us to support and love each other,” Aniston said excitedly. “She’s a really good person and a great friend.”
“Because of Courteney, we became one of the most beloved casts – I would say – in the history of television,” said Lisa Kudrow at the award ceremony, among others.
