The country singer Piettro Dias died on Saturday night (28) in a traffic accident, the information was released by the Fire Department of Minas Gerais. In addition to the singer, the couple’s wife and son were in the vehicle, both also died.
According to the Fire Department, the car that was being driven by the artist collided with a trailer at km 6 of the BR-364, between the municipalities of Frutal and Planura (MG). Piettro’s body was found lifeless in the wreckage.
Firefighters also applied sawdust to the road to eliminate the risk of skidding.
Piettro would participate in Expo Frutal, an event to be held at the end of June. In a note published on social media, the organization mourned the death of the singer.
“Young, charismatic and very talented, Piettro has been performing at Expo Frutal for some years. In this moment of pain, we leave here our condolences to his family, friends and admirers of his work”, reads the message.
