The invitation, delivered in recent weeks to the 2,000 guests who will sit in the benches of Westminster, speaks for itself, and also reveals a few more details about the ceremony, which will see the king and queen escorted by four pages of honor eachwho will participate in the short procession inside the Abbey. for the king, the first in line will be the nephew George, followed by Oliver Cholmondeley.

George does not need great introductions: second in line of succession to the throne, eldest son of Kate and William, he will turn 10 next July and is now used to public events. The brothers Charlotte and Louis should also be in the church, even if their presence has not yet been officially confirmed. Oliver, 13 years old, is instead one of the twins of Marquess of Cholmondeley and his wife Rose Hanbury, Prince William’s alleged ex-mistress. The father has recently been appointed Lord in Waiting to the king, so it is not surprising that one of his children (the others are Alexander and Iris) has been chosen for the coronation. In the light of the Marquis’s new position, the rumors of an alleged betrayal of William with Rose are getting weaker but, as we know, without the gossip the English would not have the tabloids.

Even the queen will have four pages: the twin grandchildren Gus and Louis Lopes, 13 years old, children of daughter Laura and husband Harry, Freddy Parker Bowles13, son of the Queen’s eldest son, Tom, and ex-wife Sara Buys, and finally Arthur Elliot, son of a nephew, Ben Elliot.

All that remains is to wait for Carlo’s big day to see them all together in a role that will make them forever part of the history of this kingdom. Even if, we are sure, all eyes will be focused on George, at his first real engagement «when he grows up». Little princes grow up. Very quickly.
