Dania’s intelligence services today accused Moscow of orchestrating misinformation campaign that claimed that a Danish MP was asking Russia to help the United States from annexing Greenland. Publications circulating on social media in January claimed that Karsen Honggain, a member of the Denmark Parliament representing the left -wing Socialistisk Folkeparti party, wanted to prevent this autonomous territory of Dania from becoming independent and that his country had to ask for this purpose. A falsified photo showing a message on Facebook signed by Honggen was included in these publications: “False news” was reported by the MP in a post on the X platform.
