A young woman who claims she was assaulted during a party on the UFC fighter’s luxury yacht, Conor McGregor. The Irish Sun revealed that the 20-year-old, from Drimnagh, made a complaint to officers at Sundrive Garda Station in Crumlin earlier this month.
According to the newspaper, the 20-year-old woman complained that she suffered bruises since the alleged attack on McGregor’s three-story superyacht while it was in Spain’s Balearic Islands on July 17, when the fighter hosted a party for his 34th birthday.
The woman’s claims and evidence from her visits to doctors have been sent to Spanish police in the Balearic Islands. Although the Irish police has already “ruled out that the perpetrator was McGregor himself or that he was even involved in the incident”, the investigation is ongoing.
A researcher in Spain reported in The Sunhow the woman claims she took a “vacation” and accepted attack “while wearing her bathing suit.” Then, according to what she said, she was taken to the coast by speedboat and she immediately contacted the local authorities. However, he was frustrated because the police “didn’t speak any English” and did not press charges immediately because, he claimed, “he just wanted to return her house”.
Upon returning to Ireland, filed the complaint together with her lawyer. “An Irish woman has now made a formal complaint in relation to an alleged assault while on the yacht of Mr. McGregor. The documents have now been sent from Ireland to Spain. When the woman was in Spain she did not sign anything because she was determined to return to her homeland first. CCTV cameras are being considered
As part of their investigation, Spanish police are examining CCTV from the port at the time of the alleged incident. According to a Spanish media report, the alleged victim was examined at a nearby hospital and the medical report showed a head injury.
