A confusion between a street vendor and agents from São Paulo City Hall was witnessed, last Saturday (10), in Brás, in the central region of São Paulo.
In images reproduced on social media, it is possible to see the moment in which the seller is attacked by agents and falls to the ground.
According to the São Paulo Security Secretariat (SSP-SP), the police officers — called in to support an operation carried out by City Hall employees — reported that the agents had been attacked by the seller, who refused to collect his products.
In a statement, the Subprefecture of Mooca stated that the agents faced resistance from street vendors while carrying out an inspection action on Avenida Rangel Pestana.

The SSP-SP points out that the municipal agents gave statements and were released.
The case was registered as a bodily injury in the 8th DP (Brás) and expert examinations were requested from the IML.
