Coca-Cola reported net income of US$ 2.41 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021, above the gain of US$ 1.46 billion recorded in the same period of 2020, according to a corporate balance released this Thursday (10) .
The multinational reported having earned a profit of US$ 0.45 per share, in adjusted terms, exceeding the forecast of analysts consulted by FactSet, of US$ 0.41 per share.
The beverage giant also reported 10% growth in revenue year-on-year to $9.5 billion – also higher than the market’s forecast of $8.9 billion.
The company highlighted that sales advanced in all quarters of 2021, when compared to 2019, amid the adaptation of the business to the pandemic scenario.
After the disclosure of the numbers, the share of Coca-Cola rose 1.03% in the pre-market of the New York Stock Exchange, around 9:15 am (GMT).
