Anitta participated in Peso Pluma's second show at Coachella on Friday night (19).
The Brazilian singer took the stage to sing “Bellakeo”, a collaboration between the Rio native and the Mexican that was successful in 2023.
Anitta's appearance was surprising, as Coachella's second weekend shows are usually a repeat of what happened in the first. Last week, the voice of “Envolver” and “Mil Veces” did not participate in Peso Pluma’s performance at the festival.
Anitta had two shows to call her own at Coachella 2022. That year, she and Pabllo Vittar joined the list of Brazilians who have already sung at the festival, such as Emicida, Céu and Seu Jorge.
This Saturday (20), No Doubt, Jon Batiste and Tyler, The Creator will perform again at Coachella. On Sunday (21st) it's the turn of Ludmilla, YG Marley, Victoria Monét, J Balvin and Doja Cat.
Grimes promised to fix problems
Another show that should present changes compared to last week is that of Grimes, who performed as a DJ at the Empire Polo Club, where the festival takes place. The Canadian makes her second this Saturday on the Sahara stage.
Grimes suffered from technical problems and apologized for the quality of the presentation presented. She added in her apology that she “will personally organize all the files” this week and that there were some “good lessons learned.”
“I will not let such a thing happen again,” she said. “I spent months on this show, making music and visuals, and I admit I'm not in a good mood. But yes, next week will be perfect, everything will be in my hands.”
