Coachella 2025: See five iconic moments of the first weekend

The singer Post Malone, 29, performed on the main stage of Coachella on Sunday (13) at night to end the first weekend of the annual music festival, which was full of highlights.

If you have not followed the movement in Indio, California, here are some moments that have left us with Fomo (acronym for “Fear of Missing Out” from English, fear of being out).

Star of ‘White Lotus’ takes the stage

The singer Lalisa Manalal, known as Lisa, from the worldly popular K-Pop Blackpink group, ended a few months busy with a presentation at Coachella on Friday (11).

Lisa, who played a mook in season 3 of “The White Lotus”, referred to her character from the popular HBO drama during her solo set on the Sahara stage.

“For fans of“ White Lotus ”, you may be surprised to see mook on stage,” she said. “This is she when she’s not working, you know?”

Lisa also had the support of her colleagues of “Lotus”, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Tayme Thapsimthong, who were seen in the audience during her presentation.

Party in the Gothic Garden of Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga was the festival’s main attraction on Friday with a almost two-hour set full of new songs and classic hits, as well as several costumes and grandiose scenarios that looked like a party in a gothic garden.

In a memorable exchange with a fan, Gaga got off the stage while singing “Vanish Into You”, track from her latest album “Mayhem”, and was seen accepting a bouquet of black flowers. Gaga held these flowers for the rest of the song, including taking them to the stage.

Little Monster, as Gaga fans are known, later posted a video about it on Tiktok, who caught the attention of the singer “Bad Romance.”

“Now we are connected forever,” Gaga wrote in the comments. She added that she said to her fiancé Michael Polanksy: “Do you believe a fan handed me a bouquet of black flowers – as if you knew the whole show even before we did? It was perfect! I love you! Thanks for this beautiful gift.”

Benson Boone’s special guest

The singer of “Beautiful Things” – and impressively acrobatic – Benson Boone made his debut at Coachella on the main stage with style. Boone performed on Friday and brought Brian May, the original and legendary guitarist of Queen, to accompany him on the guitar while singing a cover of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

Boone, of course, used his characteristic light blue jumpsuit.

Bernie Sanders special participation

Senator Bernie Sanders made an appearance on Saturday (12) to present the Clear Indie-Pop singer.

“This country faces some very difficult challenges and the future of what happens to America depends on its generation,” Sanders said on stage, addressing the mostly young audience. “We need you to get up, fight for justice. To fight for economic justice, social justice and racial justice.”

Sanders has recently attracted thousands of supporters to rallies across the country through their “Fighting Oligachy” tour.

Starring Scenario of Charli XCX

Charli XCX took the main stage on Saturday, just before the main attraction Green Day, and performed a show with some invited stars.

The British singer presented hits from her Grammy winning album “Brat” with the help of Coachella Billie Eilish veteran, as well as Lord and Troye Sivan. Eilish appeared on stage with Charli XCX to sing her “Guess” collaboration, while Sivan joined her in “talk, talk.” Lord assisted with a performance of his hit “Girl, so confusing.”
