Claudia Costin: It is important to recover lost learnings on back to school

In February, 17 capitals and the Federal District defined that they will maintain or resume fully face-to-face classes. Some states must also require proof of vaccination from students.

THE CNN Specialist in education Claudia Costin believes that the resumption of classes will not be simple. “Despite the fact that teachers and teenagers had the complete vaccination schedule, the delay in vaccinating children was unacceptable,” he said.

Carla believes that it is important for teachers to work on recovering lost learning and also on how to address the issue of students’ mental health.

She also defended the governments that started to demand the certificate of vaccination from students, but said that this cannot prevent students from learning, which is their right.

We want to beat the pandemic, it is essential that children are vaccinated and have their right to learn
