A teacher at a school in Vitória (ES) fell from one floor to the other after the floor she was on collapsed. The teacher suffered abrasions and complained of abdominal, spine and arm pain. The case occurred last Thursday (18).
The accident occurred late in the afternoon, after classes had ended. For this reason, there were no students in the room, according to the educational institution. The Fire Department reported that the victim was treated and taken to the hospital at the Unimed Integrated Health Care Complex.
Rede Inspira, responsible for managing the First World Educational Center, highlighted that all maintenance and permits are up to date. Furthermore, he stated that the floor is made of a metal structure and has technology that is valid for 20 years.
The school suspended classes this Friday (19) for inspection and there is no forecast for the return of classes at the moment. The institution also said that the teacher's health status is being monitored by the coordination.
