Civil Police search a site in Rio de Janeiro and try to locate lawyer Anic Herdy

The Civil Police carried out searches on Thursday (23/05), at a site in the Santa Efigênia neighborhood, in the city of Guapimirim, metropolitan region of Rio, in an attempt to locate Anic de Almeida Peixoto Herdy.

The place was searched by agents from the Petrópolis police station (105th DP), because according to investigations, the website's address was searched on the internet by Lourival Correa Netto Fadiga — known as Gordo — the main suspect in the lawyer's disappearance.

The breach of the confidentiality of Lourival's accounts revealed that he did some research on Google Maps, on a date close to the last day on which Anic Herdy was last seen.

For investigators, the owner of the site informed that he did not know Lourival. Even so, the police analyzed the entire area and locations on the ground that were suspicious.

The Municipal Guard of the cities of Petrópolis and Teresópolis assisted the civil police with sniffer dogs, specialized in finding corpses.

According to the Civil Police, nothing was found at the scene. The search for evidence of Anic Herdy's location continues.
